That large dilapidated apartment is all that Pietro, now old and withdrawn into himself, has left. The law, though, wants to kick him out: eviction. So he decides to wall himself up inside a tiny illegal hiding place – a fugitive in his own home, which he finds himself sharing with a woman and a little girl for whom that house seems to be the only possible refuge. A secret coexistence that leads Pietro to discover that his heart can still be warmed and that, digging inside himself, he can perhaps discover a truth capable of making him see things with new eyes…
